The short answer? No.
The reasons:
- Restaurants prepare food for each customer when it's ordered. Catered food is prepared well ahead of time for many people.
- Our caterers have strict health guidelines they must follow. They have no way of guaranteeing that you would be able to get the food home in a timely manner, store and prepare it at the proper temperature, and consume it adhering to food safety standards.
- Yes, it has to do with protection against liability for our caterer. But it also has to do with their reputation to create delicious meals for our clients. The Dixie Center and our caterer hold ourselves to the highest standards of service. The policy is: No food may be taken off the Dixie Center premises.
We appreciate your understanding.
